My vision for the future

“I believe we’ll finally realise how amazing we are”
For too long, humanity as a species has been at odds with itself. Self doubt and fear have had us behaving in ways that are really counter to what is good for us.
We’ve been living in a masculine paradigm for far too many centuries. Which would be fine except that there hasn’t been any balance. Societies have just got more competitive. More aggressive. More territorial.
But in the near future we’re going to see a shift the other way. It’s going to be a turbulent transition, but we’re going to see women and minorities step into more leadership roles.
We’re going to see a radical shift to the other side… to the left, to the feminine, to a more caring and socialistic way of living.
It won’t be perfect. We need a certain ‘yang’ to our ‘yin’.
But after many decades, century and millenia of shifting back and forth, I believe we’ll find a natural balancing point.
And we’ll celebrate the contribution that every person makes to humanity. Young. Old. Male. Female. White. Black. Asian. African. Latino. Aboriginal. Straight. Heterosexual. Bisexual. Whatever.
Except that we won’t even label these things. Because we know that we are all unique variations of each other. The same and different.
