My vision for the future

Our species has the ability to be healing forces on this planet. Fact.
But growing up we are taught about ‘conservation’ and sustainability’ two words that summarize the apparent sum total of our species ability to interact with – and protect the natural systems upon which our very survival depends on.
It’s like saying that all that we can do is try to not make things any worse.
But this has to change. Humans have evolved throughout the millennia by working with nature, in nature, and it is to this we must return with the understanding that an urgent reconnection to the natural world is paramount to our ongoing survival.
Permaculture, described as Regenerative Landscape Design based on Ecological Principles is where so many of these answers for who, how, where and what can be found and is a movement that is rapidly picking up momentum in farmers fields and city streets all over the world.
Because at the end of the day, when all is said and done and the burden of our civilization cries foul at the clouds of doom that hang heavy on every horizon.
We humans will always have the ability – available in every second of every day, to do things better to make this world marvelous.
